Jocelyn's jealousy

Jocelyn recently found some photo albums, and she loves flipping through them. However, she gets upset over some pictures she's found of her daddy holding a baby (see pics below) and whines, "Daddy hold!" Umm, yeah, the pictures are of Lee holding HER when she was a baby. I tried explaining that to her, but she doesn't quite get it. She just knows that her daddy is holding a child who doesn't look like her!

Another funny thing is that she doesn't care about pictures like the following. Not as jealous of Mommy, I guess?

Oh, and she has decided that she really likes my college roomie Kristina and often points out this pic and says, "aw tina" (Aunt 'Stina).

Following family tradition...

In my family, reading in the bathroom is a bit of a tradition. While we never took it as far as George did on Seinfeld (never take a book you don't own to the bathroom with you!), we always had a variety of reading materials on hand for perusing on the throne. Well, Jocelyn (who isn't potty trained, but who uses the potty from time to time ... we'll begin real training sometime after Robbie arrives!) is continuing the tradition ...
