Hospitals can be fun!

Note: this is another one of the posts I wrote and scheduled before Robbie's arrival. I am NOT so on top of things yet that I'm posting about past events with a new little one! :)

When we visited our friends John and Kristen and their little girl Hannah at Rex in early March, I completely forgot to take any pictures with the new little family. Boo! (Hey, Kristen, can you email me the one John took of me holding Hannah and Jocelyn? No rush! I know you have your hands full right now.) However, I did remember to take pictures at Jocelyn's favorite hospital place ... the fountain! First Lee chased Jocelyn, and then she turned the tables on him. Fun!

Swinging at the park

Note: this is one of the posts I wrote and scheduled before Robbie's arrival. I am NOT so on top of things yet that I'm posting about past events with a new little one! :)

On the first Saturday in March, we headed to the park. We all loved the warm weather, and Jocelyn played first in the sand with new friends who we met there and then near the dog park with any/all of the dogs she could find! (Well, she didn't really play with the dogs, just enjoyed them from Mommy's arms.) I didn't get pictures of any of that, though. The swings, however, provided the perfect spot for a photo shoot!

And a video ...

(Lee and Jocelyn jump off the swing after I voice my concerns about whether or not this is a good idea. Jocelyn's reaction? No smiles, no laughter, just a simple request: "more swing!")

Checking out little brother, part 2

At first, Jocelyn wanted to sit with us (and loves to do so while I'm nursing him), but quickly decided that it would be much cooler to hold him herself! She now regularly asks, "Baby hold?" She has been fantastic with him so far, except that she just tries to shove him out of her lap when she's done. She loves giving him hugs while she holds him, but I haven't gotten a good shot of that yet!

And, of course, she had to tickle her little brother!

Checking out little brother, part 1

I guess part one would actually be the picture we took at the hospital, but as you can see from the last post Jocelyn was far more interested in her play baby than in her baby brother! So here's her first true acknowledgement of him ...

And, sure, Robbie is fun, but my main guy is still Daddy!
